To ensure that all employees are competent to do their tasks and to give them adequate training to ensure that they perform their duties safely.

 To provide safe plant, machinery and equipment.

To carry out periodic reviews of the safety and health policy, procedures  and  instructions as necessary.

To maintain safe and healthy working conditions

THIKA POWER  LTD treats Health and Safety as everybody’s responsibility and as such it endeavors to
ensure that all employees are aware of their individual responsibility to exercise care in relation to themselves and
other persons who may be affected by their acts or omissions at the workplace. As such individuals are encouraged
to:

Familiarize themselves with Thika Power Services’ Health & safety policy, departmental or unit safety
requirements and Clause 13 of OSH Act, 2007(Duties of Employees)

 Familiarize themselves with emergency response and evacuation plans.

Make proper use of protective equipment availed to them at all times.

Follow all procedures and seek expert advice in case of any doubt or shortcomings.

Report accidents, incidents and hazards promptly.
